Mackinac Bridge

It's a beauty, spanning a LOT of water... connecting the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with the lower.

Mackinac Island sits off to the right in this photo.

The Grand Hotel

It's an amazing place, stunningly gorgeous, HUGE, and you cannot miss it from the ferry into Mackinac. It costs $12 per person just to walk in and check out the place. Next time I go, I'll pay the $12. But I want to spend the whole day there and see what it's like.

The point at Mullett Lake

Well, okay, ONE of the many points. But I was fascinated by this one. I would love to know if the deer looking object is just a statue or a practice decoy or just what it was.

Fun sign

It was for a little shop in Mackinac - and I didn't get to go inside but thought the sign was darn cute. It kind of makes you wonder, since behind the sign was cobweb and dirt covered siding and a window fan... my twisted mind went elsewhere, of course. ;-)
