Seeing shapes

This tulip opened up almost square and with exactly 8 petals, it just has a squared off look. I liked it. Even the center (sepals?) is a square.

Counterproductive?

I took a lot of shots of these tulips. I knew they'd be shortlived. They've hit their proverbial flower"wall" and are hitting the garbage tomorrow. But I do have some nice photos to remember them by.

I got a lovely windfall of tulips from my parents and sister after my recent surgery. The company messed up the order and I got TWO!

So I have wonderful tulips all over. Enjoy!
